Melissa is a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with years of experience helping adults with aphasia, motor speech disorders, cognitive-communication impairments, swallowing disorders, and other neurological conditions.

She earned her Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Ithaca College and has worked in a nationally recognized inpatient rehabilitation hospital, outpatient clinics, and teletherapy settings. Much of her career was spent specializing in the evaluation and treatment of adults recovering from stroke and brain injury. While at Magee Rehabilitation Hospital, she also led the Cancer Care Committee and co-initiated the Music Therapy Department.

Melissa is licensed in Connecticut and Washington and is a SPEAK OUT!® Provider and Certified Lingraphica® Technology Specialist. She provides individualized, evidence-based care focused on improving communication, cognition, and quality of life while partnering with clients and their families throughout the rehabilitation journey.

Outside of work, Melissa enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and going to the beach.
